PAYMENTS: Whale Safari accepts the following methods of payments:

• Website: Credit cards including Mastercard, Visa and American Express. There is no charge or service fee for processing credit card payments when tours or services are purchased on our website.
• Ticket Office: Credit cards including Mastercard & Visa, as well as cash payments in Icelandic Króna (ISK). Cash payments in other currencies are also accepted, such as United States Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR) & Pound Sterling (GBP), subject to a 10% currency exchange fee. Please note any change given will be in Icelandic Króna (ISK).

Payment will be listed as Whale Safari / Sea Safari Ísland ehf. on the credit card or debit card statement.

CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be made in writing and should be sent to info@whalesafari.is. If it is not possible for you to send us your cancellation via email, please contact us by phone (+354-497-0000). Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to tour departure will be charged in full (100% cancellation charge). However, if Whale Safari cancels the trip due to weather conditions, no fee will be charged, and a full refund will be offered. Please note that other cancellation policies may apply to group bookings, bookings for private tours, tours operated by one of our trusted partner‘s, or if you have made your reservation through a third party.

REFUNDS: Tours purchased on whalesafari.is are refunded when requested in writing at least 24 hours prior to departure. Once a tour or service has started, no refunds are available. For tours purchased through third-parties or travel agencies, please take your original voucher / booking confirmation to them and they will issue a full refund after reconfirmation of the tour cancellation with our office.

LIABILITY: Whale Safari reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables, change or cancel tour dates should the necessity arrive, including irregularities due to adverse weather. All tours are run in wild nature and we can never guarantee sightings on a particular tour. The estimated duration of tours are standard times and can change according to sea conditions and operational factors. All activities are undertaken entirely at clients own risk and they must behave in a fit and proper manner at all times in accordance with Whale Safari guidelines and must take proper responsibility for accidents that are caused by its customers or can be traced to their own actions or are caused by factors outside of human control (Force Majeure). Whale Safari, it‘s managers and staff accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage of passenger‘s property on our boats. With the purchase of your trip, you agree in full to these conditions, understand their implications and accept responsibility for your participation during your tour.

COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS: In the unlikely event that no whales or dolphins are spotted on your whale watching tour, we do not refund the tour price but instead offer a complimentary ticket valid on the Classic Whale Watching tour (EL-01/EL-02/EL-03/AK-01) in either Reykjavík or Akureyri. Each ticket is valid for two years and for returning passengers only. Please remember to bring the ticket and a form of ID when checking in for the complimentary tour.

WARRANTIES: While Whale Safari strives to provide accurate information, the website may contain inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information. Whale Safari takes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the content of the website, and makes no commitment to update such information. Whale Safari shall not be liable for any damages relating to the use of, or reliance upon, the website or such information, features, material or services.

PRIVACY POLICY: You can always visit our site without revealing who you are or providing any personal information. We do collect session data, but it cannot be linked to you as an individual. The usage information is for us to better understand how our sites are being navigated and improve our services. If you decide to book a tour through Whale Safari, we will collect information such as your name, nationality, phone number and email, that are necessary to provide you with the services offered on the site and to give you important updates on your tour. we may invite you to participate in online surveys or send you pictures from your tour, but you can always optöout or unsubscribe from said emails. If at any point you wish to have your information removed from our database, please contact us via email (info@whalesafari.is). Whale Safari will never give out, sell, rent or share your personal information with a third party.

VISITING OUR WEBSITE: By visiting the website of Whale Safari (www.whalesafari.is) you agree to follow the basic rules of conduct below and all applicable laws. You promise not to:

• Use any information on the website for any commercial purposes without expressed authorisation by Whale Safari.
• Send any kind of bulk unsolicited advertising, promotional information, email, chain letters or pyramid schemes of any sort or other solicitation to any person through the use of our website.
• Search, mine or link any data or information to or through the website without the express consent and authorisation of Whale Safari.
• Adopt a false identity if the purpose of doing so is to deceive or defraud users or Whale Safari.
• Collect or store personally identifiable information about any other individual on the website.
• Threaten or abuse people using the website or otherwise stalk, repeatedly contact or harass users.
• Interrupt users of the website or otherwise act in a way that negatively affects their use or experience of the website.
• Post any kind of hateful, vulgar or obscene content or information that can be seen as distasteful, offensive or defamatory or invades another person‘s privacy or proprietary rights.
• Impersonate any other person or misrepresent a relationship with any person or entity, including misrepresenting a relationship with Whale Safari.
• Post content that contains any kind of viruses, cancel bots, Trojan horses, harmful code or other computer software or program designed to interrupt the website, proper functioning of any software, hardware, equipment or materials used in connection with the website or ability of users to enjoy the website.
• Violating any of the guidelines set forth above, or any other aspect of these Terms & Conditions will result in termination of your rights to use the website without notice.
