Mammal species seen today: Humpback whale, Minke whale, White-beaked dolphins, Grey seal

Today we had feeding activity across our watching area - Faxafloi bay. We saw few Humpbacks and plenty of Minke whales during the day. On occasions, they were not easy to observe, since they were changing the speed and direction quite often - displaying their typical feeding behaviour. Nevertheless, it was great to watch the whales in fishing action and we even saw few of the individuals quite close to our boats! We saw the whales, heard them and even smell their stinky fishy smell from their mouth!  In the afternoon tour, one of the minke whales was quite curious and playful, surfing the waves around our boat!
We also saw White-beaked dolphins today. It seems it was a larger family, of at least 20-25 individuals, adults, juveniles and calves, seen in few smaller groups spreaded around the area.  They were very playfull around the boats and the juveniles and calves were even jumping and leaping above the surface!
It was also exciting to see all the marine birds gliding between the waves, fishing, feeding and steeling each other's catch.
On our morning Puffin tour we even saw a Grey seal, in the sea in front of Akurey, one of our Puffin islands.
