10:00 - What an incredible tour! We set out in beautiful weather, with not a cloud in the sky, and the sun shining bright. As soon as we left the marina we had the first sightings of the tour: a small group of harbour porpoises, maybe 6 of them, and a minke whale. After a while with them, we pushed on, and we came across more minke whales, in total, maybe 5 of them. A bit further North, we hit the jackpot, when we spotted the blow of a humpback whale. It was a delightful individual, playing with some seaweed and enjoying the morning. We stayed with it for some time, but just a distance South, we saw the blows of 2 more humpbacks, so we headed that way, and they regaled us with some nice fluke dives before we made our way home. Total humpback whale count was 3 individuals.
