Species seen today: humpback whale, minke whale, white-beaked dolphin, harbour porpoise

We've had an amazing weather today! No swell, very light wind, clear sunny sky and incredible visibility! We went out on 2 boats both on our 10am and 2pm tours. During the day we saw around 3 pods of harbour porpoises on each trip. The highlight being the sighting of a little pod of 4-6 of them approaching the boat and swimming underneath it. While with our engines off, we were enjoying the sound of their cute breathing and curious behaviour. On all of our trips we saw many minke whales (at least 10 per trip), from a distance as well as just few meters from our boat. They were mainly feeding and some we saw lunge feeding (=consuming a large quantity of prey and water after a high-speed propulsion), closing their mouth just at the surface, which is always spectacular to see. We also had white-beaked dolphins across our watching area. Some were close groups and others were scattered. We saw them chasing their prey, jumping and on one trip they were leapping out of the sea in a high speed next to our boat and playing under it! We also saw humpback whales, in an area a bit further out in the ocean. On each tour we saw a different individual. The individual on our morning trip was, at the begining,  diving for around 10 minutes and moving longer distances, but later it relaxed, started moving slower and was performing only 4 minutes dives. It was not showing its fluke, but due to caracteristic marks on its dorsal fin, we recognised it was the same individual seen on our last trip, few days ago. The individual seen on our 2nd trip was fluking its majestic tail high up in the air frequently, was diving short 2-3 mins dives, passed close and under both of our boats and was feeding quite attractively to watch - raising its flukes up above surface & rolling on its back. Amazing day to be at the ocean!
