Species seen today: White-beaked Dolphins, Harbour porpoise, Humpback whale, Minke whale

10:00 - It was cloudy in the bay when we headed out at sea. Some harbour porpoises, a pod of about 2 to 5 passed by one boat that then continued its way. Our two boats then encountered various pods of white beaked dolphins, pod size varied between 2 individuals to about 5. We had various pods everywhere in the bay, so much that it was hard to quantify how many where passing by. We then continued and one of our boat encountered a minke whale, when the second boaty arrived the minke whale was unfortunately gone so we also could not catch a glimpse of this individual. After waiting a bit for the minke whale we heard of another animal in the bay... everyone then sped up to try to see this animal and it was a humpback whale. We managed to see this individual doing a beautiful fluke dive 3 times before having to head back to the harbour. Definetely a great trip.

14:00 - The conditions  were still good even if we had a bit of rain in the end of the tour. We spotted 5-6 white-beaked dolphins quite early in the tour. They were super friendly and followed our boat, some even started jumping in the waves made by our RIB. We stayed for a while then went a bit further scouted the area as much as possible but without any success. In the end of the tour we finally spotted a minke whale and could see it during two surfacing sequences, before we had to go back to the harbour.
