Birds seen today: Common eider, great cormorant, Northern fulmar, black-headed gull, black-legged kittiwake, common guillemot, razorbill, black guillemot

Our Whale Watching Tours at 12:00 & 15:00 are ON SCHEDULE! Our tour at 09:00 was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather in the morning.

Thursday, April 2nd, 2026

12:00 - The first tour of the season! The snow was falling in big flakes as we went out. Even though the wind was not to strong and the waves were nice to ride, the visibility was quite low during the tour. We stopped in the whale fjord and listened to the silence and the crashing of waves over the near by rocks. Despite all efforts we could not find the whales and therefore offered complementary tickets to our guests.

15:00 - For our second tour we sailed north, close to HvalFjörður! The beautiful snow started to slow down and we enjoyed surfing the waves as the visibility improved and we had a glimpse of the beautiful snowy mountains. Despite our effort unfortunately we didn't find any cetacean species so we gave out complimentary tickets to our passengers so they can come back another day!
