10:00 - We had a cloudy day ahead with some wind and a bit of swell but nothing too bad, so we went out in search of some marine activity! It looked good on the way out and so, the captain pushed the throttle to go even faster breaking the waves like an ice breaker. After a while, a passenger spotted a fin, it was a minke whale that came up lots of times for us to have a good look at this gentle giant! We saw it a few times but we had news of something else not too far, so we went in that direction. It was confirmed, it was something else, a pod of 4 to 5 white-beaked dolphins, that jumped around the boat in happiness for seeing us and others busy feeding on the fish. We saw lots of birds, such as northern gannets plunge diving and northern fulmars surfing the waves like pro surfers. Suddenly the wind picked up quite a lot and the time was over so we sailed back to the harbour slowly but steadily. A good day out there in the bay!
