Whale Diary

13:00 - The weather was nice, the sun was shining, the sea was a little rough and it was quite cold, but everyone wanted to see whales. As we headed out of the harbor, not even 20m, we saw a Minke Whale ! But it only surfaced 1 time. So we kept going. We had to head out quite far, before we spotted a blow. It was a Humpback Whale! So it surfaced a few times, in between we had to wait a while and then it gave us a really nice goodbye fluke. As if it would've known, that it's time for us to go back to port.

15:00 - It was a very cold, but sunny tour with a beautiful sunset. We headed out and didn't have to go far, before we saw a Humpback Whale. It was quite shy and didn't surface a lot, so we decided to have a look around. As we couldn't find anything else, we went back to the spot and found the Humpback again. It was traveling slowly, coming up and breathing regularly and when it was time for us to go home, it gifted us with it's beautiful fluke. It was Pep, a female Humpback we know. :)
