Species seen today: Minke whale, white beaked dolphin, harbour porpoise

Birds seen today: Northern fulmar, kittiwakes, northern gannet, black back gulls, herring gulls

10:00 - It was a bit rainy as we went out but it suddenly cleared and we passed the whole trip without getting soaked : amazing ! There was also a bit of swell,  but no wind yet, which made it fine to pass up and down the high swell and also very fun. As we headed out one of our rib boat encountered an area with 4 to 5 minke whales around, and the other one encountered a pod of 6 to 10 white beaked dolphins. Both dolphins and minke whales were calm so we could stay for a while and all had very nice views on both species as we went around, just one group started by seeing the dolphins and the other one the minkes and then we switched. It was awesome sightings and then we headed back home.
