Species seen today: White beaked dolphins, minke whales

14:00 - Today we went out with quite some wind and swell, but had warned every passengers beforehand of the sea conditions. At first we saw a pod of 4 white beaked dolphins, we could observe them for quite some time as they came close to our boats and then travelled away from the boat. We continued in the area, knowing we had some animals around there, and saw some minke whales ! There was at least 3 to 5 of them around one area, and the animals came very close to us. We could have some nice and close views on some individuals and even see their spout quite clearly and size ! It was very cool sightings of a few of these small whales. After that we continued around the area and eventually finished the day with a nice pod of white dolphins, this one had about 5 individuals, and was exhibiting some socializing and even mating behaviour. We then headed back toward the harbour, feeling adventurous and going against the waves. A fun ride !
