10:00 - We had a wonderful light over the bay this morning. We spotted all the species we frequently observe during our tours: harbour porpoises, white-beaked dolphins, minke whales and humpback whales. The harbour porpoises were very fast and only showed themselves for a few seconds. The white-beaked dolphins were curious and playful, coming right up to the boat! After some wonderful moments with them we encountered minke whales that came up a few times, and the humpback whales came up very frequently and we enjoyed their flukes above the surface during many views.

12:00 - Conditions were good this afternoon with a calm sea and a warm wind. We stopped in Akurey and observed cute little puffins everywhere around us. We went where our colleagues found a humpback earlier and we found it as well! The humpback whale was feeding close to the surface, surfacing often and going for fluke dives very frequently. We saw it coming right in front of us probably trying to capture fish! It was so close! We sax the animal going for a fluke dive showing its dark fluke. The whale after eating for a while seemed to start cruising, changing to another area. We then left and looked for other species. We spotted an area with so many birds we stopped and spotted 2 minke whales. They were not easy to spot so we moved again until we found a third minke whale that also disappeared. The we spotted a splash far away and went there to see a pod of 7-8 white-beaked dolphins.  The animals were swimming close to each other and when we tried to approach they seemed a bit interested but quickly lost the interest so we observed them from a distance. It was wonderful to see them swimming and sometimes coming under our boat, we could observe them under the surface.

14:00 - We encountered a minke whale on the way out in to the bay, and we soon found another one that we could have a few looks at. During the rest of the tour, we spotted four humpback whale individuals that were travelling and feeding in the bay. The first two went very fast, but the last two came up quite frequently and gave us some beautiful looks at their flukes.
