Whale Diary

2000- Today‘s weather was challenging, with rain, overcast skies, and quite a bit of wind. Undeterred, we sailed out of the harbor, ready for an adventure. After a few minutes, we spotted a group of arctic terns feeding and decided to stop, hoping to see a whale or a pod of dolphins. Unfortunately, nothing appeared. We continued our journey and noticed some gannets diving in the distance. We tried to get closer, thinking there might be some marine life nearby, but luck wasn't on our side. Despite our efforts, we didn't find any whales or dolphins and had to turn back toward the harbor. On our way back, we made a stop by Akurey to see some puffins. While we didn‘t encounter any whales or dolphins today, the puffins provided a delightful end to our trip, and we gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again on the larger boats.
