14:00 - We quickly got dressed and entered to our boat. The sea state was noticeably better than the morninig and thanks to our captain we stayed dry during our tour. We started with a stop on the one of the three mane islands of puffins. Akurey home for thousand of puffins that we enjoyed for quite a while. After this wonderful stop we started our way towards the open waters. It dint took long until we came across a humpback whale that was not more than ten minutes away from our puffin stop. Big individual fluke diving close to our boat that made us exited for the day ahead. Further out in Faxafloy bay we spotted a minke whale that surfaced close too our boat and made us even happier and we came back home with big smiles and lots of nice memories.
16:00 - We started the tour in a bad weather and with some swell. Fortunately We spotted a Humpback whale close to Viðey and stayed with it for a while and went to screen another location. The weather improved then and now we are looking at a another Humpback fishing next to the shore. Everyone was happy to have been able to enjoy a nice tour and come back in a sunny weather.
