00 - It was very cloudy but very calm as we started our trip today in the bay. We started our sightings by white beaked dolphins ! There was several pods of about 3 to 5 individuals each all around us, we could see a lot of them even in the distance. Then we continued a bit further toward an area with more birds and boats to see some minke whales ! There was at least 15 to 20 minke whales around, clearly traveling and feeding. As we went around we saw a lot of them appearing around the boat, including our beloved humpie. That is a minke whale we know very well as it has been sighted for at least 1°0 years around the bay. After some time with the minkes, it was time to head back toward the harbour, a lovely encounter !

00 : Today the conditions were perfect for whale watching. The water was not moving and there was no wind. The hotspot of animals today was further away as the other companies informed us since they spotted 2 humpback whales in that area. As soon as we arrived the whales were lunge feeding at the surface showing us the big mouths out of the water catching almost all the fish at the surface. Unfortunately for the fish the ones that escape the whale get eated by the sea birds so they dont have a very easy life. The total time of the tour was spent in that area because everything was there and the activity was super high. The dolhpins were eating, the minkes as well and the humpbacks were having the biggest luch ever. Eventually we had to start to head back finishing another amazing tour.

00 - The sea was mirrorflat this afternoon. Not only did we see hundreds of sandeels swimming below us through the calm and clear water, but also lots of minke whales and humpback whales. The whales were surfacing all around, we heard non-stop blows of minke whales approaching us and the two humpback whales swimming together. Their path was clearly predicted by Arctic terns, hungry for the fish spilling out of the whales' mouths. We could also sometimes see the pectoral fins of the humpback whales when they were rolling in the buffet. During this tour we also encountered a pod of 6 white-beaked dolphins. They came close to the boat and gave us a wonderful view of their beautiful bodies.

00 - This afternoon we went again to check the 2 humpback whales that were feeding the last couple of days. All the common species are in that area feeding. The minke whales, the white beaked dolphins and the humpbacks eating all the sandeels. The dolphins were jumping of joy and whales were lunge feeding. We spent the entire tour in that area because was amazing to see the beautiful giant animals having the meal of their lives. Eventually we had to return to the harbour after another very succesfull tour.

00 - The tours have been really good lately since everyday we been seeing the 2 humpback whales feeding. This tour was no different we found the animals again and some white beaked dolphins. In this pod of white beaked dolphins there were some baby and juvenilles. The juvenilles were jumping and the babies were with their mothers showing their very small body a couple of times. The 2 humpbacks are really big and we can tell very well by the very big blows when they are breathing at the surface. After some time with animals we had to start to head back to the harbour.
