Species seen today: Minke whale, white-beaked dolphin, harbour porpoise

Birds seen today: Herring gull, black-headed gull, northern gannet, northern fulmar, common guillemot 

10:00 - It was a bit windier than the forecast predicted, so the relatively high waves gave us the true Icelandic adventure. We reached a productive area with a few sea birds and one of our boats followed numerous minke whales, while the other boat checked out some curious white-beaked dolphins. The dolphins brought us to a few other minke whales and also a small pod of harbour porpoises. After some wonderful moments in the windy, yet sunny bay, we sailed back to Reykjavik.

Today our whale watching tour at 10:00 is confirmed, whilst the tour at 14:00 has unfortunately been cancelled due to sea conditions worsening throughout the day.
