10:00 - Our premium whale-watching adventure started with a quick stop at Akurey to see the puffins on their breeding island. Next, we went out into the bay, looking for whales. We scanned some areas with many feeding seabirds, but finally we found a whale a bit further out. This individual was resting and surfacing very calmly. We could easily follow it as it did not move very fast. In the same area, we also spotted a different individual who was travelling. After some time, we shifted our attention to this individual. The tour ended with the second individual joining the first one, so that we could say goodbye to both individuals at the same time. On the way back we caught a quick glimpse of a minke whale as well!
