Species seen today: Humpback Whale, Minke Whale

Birds seen today: manx and sooty shearwater, Northern fulmar, black and common guillemot, black legged kittiwake, herring gull, glaucous gull, Iceland gull  

Our Whale Watching Tours at 10:00 is ON SCHEDULE, whilst our tours at 13:00 & 15:00 have unfortunately been cancelled due to bad weather conditions at sea.

10:00 - Happy Friday! Today we set sail into our bay once more. We sailed out with two boats, one with Anna and one with Alex. We both went to the same spot and both had a blast! We spotted multiple humpback whales, one of which came quite close and we got to have a proper look at the different flukes! One boat saw 3 humpbacks and the other  was lucky enough to see 6! During the whole tour we also saw multiple minke whales! It can be tricky to count but it was likely between 3-5. It was an amazing trip and we were especially fortunate as the rest of the day had to be cancelled due to bad weather!
