00 - We had an amazing tour with countless whales all around the bay. We probably saw more than 10 humpback whales, 60 white-beaked dolphins, and 20-30 minke whales. They were often in the same areas, so it was amazing to see the diversity of animals come up at the same time to admire their differences. Our last sighting was the most spectacular, when we had 5 humpback whales in the area - three of whom came up simultaneously within meters of our boat - and lots of minke whales and white-beaked dolphins. When it was time to leave towards Reykjavík, one of the humpback whales waved us goodbye to give us a proper sendoff after these unforgettable moments at sea.

00 - Our tour started with a swift shower of rain and cloudy sky, but after passing by Engey to check on the puffins, our hearts were warm enough to pull this one through. We had our first sighting just off Engey with a pod of 3 harbour porpoises just swimming and disappearing in the next second. But we wanted something bigger! We kept on going and a few minutes later a pod of 5 to 6 white-beaked dolphins showed up and started to make a party, while a minke whale made a smooth check on us. We still wanted something bigger, that's why 3 humpback whales appeared out of nowhere, being very shy at first and then giving us really nice and smooth fluke dives. Together with the jumping dolphins, they created a beautiful atmosphere for everyone. After they split, we spotted another 2 minkes and we went there to check them out, lucky for us there was another humpback among them! Amazing tour, our captain said the time was over and we were back to the harbour!

00 - This tour was amazing, 5 to 6 humpback whales in the same area together with very playful white-beaked dolphins, around 40 in total were seen during the tour! We also had a few glimpses of 4 minke whales in the area. We had life all around us! In the beginning, we had many vessels with us, when they left, everything was silent and we could even hear the dolphins blow and their body slamming in the water! A moment settled, we were expecting a luge feed from a humpback, and with our two boats, we could see a huge lunge feed that was almost a breach! What a view! We separated in search of more animals and we encountered more dolphins with 2 humpbacks that were seen in the big group that we found earlier in the tour. What a tour this was, everybody had a big smile on their faces, the way we like to leave our passengers!

00 -  The bay was still full of life in the afternoon and we had amazing sightings of many animals. At first we saw minke whales for a few surfaces, but what we encountered next was out of this world. There were white-beaked dolphins everywhere, jumping out of the water, coming towards the boat, slapping their tail on the surface, and surfacing all around us. Among them, there were many humpback whales. We could see blows everywhere and it was hard to know where to look. We stopped by a big flock of seabirds, and under them two or three humpback whales were lungefeeding. Sometimes they lunged on their sides, other times they came up vertically and we could see right into their enormous mouths filled with baleen plates. With these amazing moments in mind we headed back towards Reykjavík.

00 - Today we could observe a bit of the midnight sun as we started our way to try to see come cetacaeans. After a short sail out in the bay we saw a humpback whale. This whale was a bit elusive so we continued and saw a pod of 50 + white beaked dolphins that started jumping all around us accompanied by a few humpback whales, at least 4 to more in the area. We saw great behaviors, and even a few breaches from an individual. After 2h on the sea it was time to head home, we got incredibly lucky in that tour, definetely one every one will remember.
