14:00 - Today the sun was shining during the whole day! The sea, although a bit choppy, was full of life. We started heading to Engey, one of the islands we see where the puffins next close to Reykjavík. After checking them out, we went out in the bay of Faxaflói to spot some cetaceans. After a while sailing, we spotted a blow not far from us! It belonged to a humpback whale, that was spending about 3 min under the surface before it popped out again. With more boats joining us, we headed to another area and we spotted a dorsal fin at the distance. It was a minke whale that, when we went to check it out, it disappeared and instead we got the close view of a harbour porpoise in the same area. We then came back to the humpback that we saw before and it was still there. With no boats around, we got a very good look of this one, shining with the sun and near us. After a couple of more views, we went back to the harbour, enjoying the good weather.
