Whale Diary

10:00 - We sailed out and was greeted by quite windy conditions. After driving for some time we made stops here and there by flocks of birds to see if something big would pop up. We ended up seeing a lone white-beaked dolphin in the distance, but when we went to check it out, we couldn't find it again. Unfortunately the bay was rather sleepy today and nothing else came to say hi and therefore it became a complimentary tour, and we provided tickets so they could return another time! The way back was quite choppy and splashy and our guests got to experience a proper Viking experience. At least they got to see the lovely puffins at Akurey and the nice skyline of Reykjavik.
