Whale Diary

10:00 - Our morning started with some rain a a bit of wind but the sea conditions were still good so we gave it a shot, we searched for about an hour in the bay surfing the waves until we heard some news on the radio! A humpback whale was spotted! we rushed there and waited for a few minutes. Then we spotted a blow! We got a bit closer just in time to see it resurface and dive into the depth! We then spotted a minke whale close by that resurfaced twice not to far giving us the change of having a quick look! Unfortunately it was time to go back so we sailed to Reykjavik but we still had a few minutes to spare and stop by Akurey to see some puffins. As the sightings were a bit quick we decided to give out complimentary tickets to our costumers in case they would like to return again!
