Whale Diary

10:00 - We bundled up and headed out into the bay. We first stopped to admire our Atlantic Puffins. Since they will soon be off until next season, it is always extra special every time we look and they are still with us! We then bundled up and headed out into the bay. It was a bit of a wet and wild ride out, but was worth the journey when we spotted the blow of one humpback whale! This humpback whale treated us right away to their fabulous fluke. It seems like we stumbled upon a very determined feeder, for after a surface sequence we got treated to another lovely fluke dive. It was lovely to see the impressive blows from our humpback surfacing. We even got a nice and close surface sequence on both sides of our boat. After a lovely viewing with our humpback, we waved them goodbye and headed back to port. What a great tour!
