10:00 - The weather today was quite pleasant, with flat seas almost no wind. These were favorable conditions which helped us while searching for the whales. We found 2 humpbacks whales during the tour, one of which was lunge-feeding for a long period, trapping the fish near the surface, before swallowing them all, right in front of our eyes. We also saw up to 5 minke whales, some of which were feeding together with the humpbacks. Asides from the large whales, we also came across a large of white-beaked dolphins, spread out over a few square kilometers, but totaling almost 100 animals. Some of our passengers were also able to get a glimpse of a very shy pair of harbour porpoises. Before returning to Reykjavík, we passed by some puffin colonies. For some reason, today we had way less puffins than usual, but were still able to show our passengers a few of these cute little birds, before finishing the tour.
