Species seen today: Humpback whale, Minke whale, White beaked dolphin

Birds seen today: Atlantic puffin, Northern fulmar, black guillemot, black legged kittiwake, greylag geese, Northern gannet, black headed gull, Arctic skua, Arctic tern, eider duck, great black backed gull, lesser black backed gull, herring gull, meadow pipit, purple sandpiper, red breasted merganser, long tailed duck, brent geese, great cormorant, European shag, common guillemot, bridled guillemot, razorbill

14:00 - We had two boats setting off this afternoon, after a cancelled morning the waves had calmed down a lot. On our way out the two boats saw different species! One boat stopped at a lot of feeding birds and saw a minke whale lunge feeding whilst the other saw a pod of white beaked dolphins! The two boats then came together to see one humpback whale followed by a second. The first wasn´t surfacing too much, it would dive for about 5 minutes then only surface 1-2 times. The second surfaced much more, it was coming up lots and went for two huge fluke dives. The fluke came so high out of the water! In this area we saw another 2 minke whales.
