Species seen today: Harbour porpoise, white-beaked dolphin, minke whale, humpback whale

Sea conditions this morning were amazing! Minimal wind and swell and bright sunshine gave us beautiful conditions for whale watching. We went out on two boats and saw all four species that we regularly find in the bay as well as lunge feeding from both minke and humpback whales. Then throughout the day, the wind slowly increased and made conditions more and more choppy throughout the day. We were still able to continue whale watching though and saw whales and dolphins on all of our tours! On one tour we got a bit of a surprise when two dolphins started mating next to our boat! All in all, a great day out in Faxafloi Bay!
