10:00 -  The wind was a bit stronger than what we were expecting but still good. We had to go quite far to be able to spot our first sighting crossing a few shy puffins during the way. There was 6 humpback whales in the same area with thousands of birds around. All those animals were probably all feeding there. We approached a group of 3 humpback whales that were swimming next to each other. One of them did a small peduncle slap but afterwards the animals looked relaxed and calm going for a few surfacings and sometimes showing us there massive fluke. We stayed with them a good time and had the chance to see them approach close to the boat when they changed direction. We were observing more blows at a few hundreds meters away but did not had time enough to go check them. After a last synchronized dive of 2 of the humpback whales we left the area and came back to Reykjavik area. We had a quick look at Engey the island near the harbour to see if there was any puffin already. Fulmars and seagulls were calmly chilling in the burrows made by the puffins but we could not find any puffin on the island yet.
