10:00 - The weather today was way better than yesterday, with a calmer sea-state, light wind and no rain. This was great for our first tour of the day, where we had good conditions to search for cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises). As we were heading to deeper areas of the bay, were our whale sightings tend to happen, we saw a small group of 6 to 10 white-beaked dolphins. We headed to where they were, but they immediately spread-out and would rarely approach our boat. As these dolphins weren´t being very social, we chose to keep searching for other animals. Some 5 to 10 minutes after, we found 2 humpback whales, which were calmy resting at the water surface, surfacing close to us multiple times. After spending a good time with them, we returned to our search. We were heading to another area where humpbacks had been seen, but stopped on the way to see a few minke whales. These were surfacing all around us, and might have been up to 4 different individuals, who were likely feeding in the area. As we got to the 2nd group of humpbacks, we were delighted to see them behaving differently, as there were regularly going for deep-dives, which meant we could see their beautifull tails, before they disappeared back into the ocean´s depths.
