Here is your chance to see the incredible Eyjafjord Humpbacks in their natural habitat. The warmth of the summer sun brings vibrant life and plentitude of food to the fjord and following it, in a feeding frenzy, come the larger-than-life humpbacks.
This family-friendly tour is available all year round with up to 5 departures a day in the summer months.
Our specially trained whale watching guides are experts at spotting them and telling you all about their behaviour, any question you have, we promise you an answer.
Our ship is the only high speed, specially modified, whale watching ship in Iceland. Capable of carrying 200 persons with spectacular views from our “cinema styled ” viewing platforms. Its speed guarantees availability of whale watching tours from Akureyri, where ever the whales might be located in the deepest fjord in Iceland.

Important Information
Please make sure to arrive at our ticket office by Oddeyrarbót pier at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure to check in and receive your boarding pass.The boat is docked right next to the office, making boarding quick and easy.
Icelandic weather can change rapidly, so we recommend dressing in warm, layered clothing - even on sunny days - as it can be chilly out at sea. Complimentary overalls are available on board to help keep you comfortable throughout the tour.
We follow a strict code of conduct for responsible whale watching to ensure a respectful and safe encounter with the wildlife. Our guides will provide safety instructions at the start of the tour, so please listen carefully and don’t hesitate to ask questions during the journey.
Requirements
Dress warmly for our northern fjord, so if you have it, bring warm outdoor clothing like a wool or fleece sweater, some warm headgear and gloves. Flat bottom shoes are recommended.
