QUAD BIKING IN ICELAND – SAFE, EASY, AND FUN
Your day will begin with picking you up from a bus stop downtown if you have chosen pick-up. On arriving at our base camp we will suit you up and gear you for the weather. You will be provided with everything you need, please make sure to wear shoes according to the weather condition.
Most of our guests are beginners, so we know how to provide an experience that’s as safe as it is fun. Our expert guides will make sure you have all the safety instructions you need before you start the tour. The quad bikes are fully automatic and super easy to use – you just hit the throttle and go!

QUAD BIKING IN THE MOUNTAINS – HOW HIGH CAN YOU GO?
Your quad bike tour takes you on a route along the lovely Lake Hafravatn, and a variety of terrains to have fun on. Then it’s onwards and upwards as you bike to the top of Hafrafell mountain – the high point of your journey. From there you should be able to see the Hengill mountain range, Iceland’s third most active volcanic system, together with Hellisheiði, the geothermal power plant for the capital area. A spectacular view over Faxaflói bay and the whole capital region, Bláfjöll mountain range, and Esja, Reykjavik’s house mountain, is waiting for you.

Our 1 hr Reykjavik Peak ATV adventure is a great quad bike/ATV tour in Reykjavik. Explore the peaceful scenic outback of the capital city of Iceland on quad bikes. An enjoyable adventure tour only 15 minutes from most hotels in Reykjavik, fun for the whole family. Reykjavik Peak is ideal for beginners, and those who want to try something new while enjoying the outdoors. Exploring the back country of Reykjavik has now been made accessible for everyone in a safe and fun way. Never been on a quad bike before? Don’t worry. Most of our guests are first timers, and our skillful guides will give special care and attention to those new to the experience. The bikes are easy to operate, and before every tour, our guides will give you operational and safety instructions. The quad bikes/ATV’s are fully automatic and easy to operate, just press and play From our base camp we start the ride on a asphalt road and then take a turn into a gravel road along beautiful lake Hafravatn before heading up a mountain trail to the top of Hafrafell. Once you stand there, you get to enjoy the great view over the whole Reykjavík area and the surrounding mountain range. The Mountain Safari Tour is an excellent choice for a half day adventure. You can pick between a morning or afternoon departure, depending on your schedule, or combine it with another activity or sightseeing trip.
