Species seen today: humpback whales, minke whales, white beaked dolphins

We had great sightings throughout the entire day as whales were seen on every tour. The morning was arguably our best as we began with feeding minke whales under flocks of seabirds, followed by curious dolphins which investigated the boat and finally saw a humpback whale perform a surface sequence which ended with a tall fluke. The second tour was spent in the presence of a lunge feeding humpback whale that fed with extreme power, leaving the water with its mouth agape on many occasions. The last tour was very similar to the second, although the species of whale feeding was the minke. They were often watched swimming in a crescent shape whilst feeding.
