Species seen today: harbour porpoise, minke whale, humpback whale

Choppy conditions out in the Bay today with a stiff breeze, but glorious sunshine and amazing visibility giving excellent views of the surrounding peninsulas. One of our boats had an inquisitive harbour porpoise come and check it out. Both of our boats spotted minke whales out in the Bay busy feeding. As we were watching the minkes we also spotted humpback whales and went over to watch an individual feeding. We were treated to several fantastic flukes as the whale dived, and the whale came fairly close to both of our boats giving some excellent views.
